Here’s a quote from the guy who is leading most polls for the Republican nomination for President in 2012 and won in the 2008 Maine Republican Caucuses: “Some of my libertarian friends balk at what looks like an individual mandate. But remember, someone has to pay for the health care that must, by law, be provided: Either the individual pays or the taxpayers pay. A free ride on government is not libertarian.”

Mitt Romney, speaking out forcefully in support of governement mandates for health insurance April 11th, 2006

Brilliant. Has it only been 15 years? I feel so damn old sometimes, that actually seems fairly recent. Let’s see, 15 years ago I was watching a young man try to shake off his pinky moniker by forcing a 2:1 burgundy wine jug chug on a belligerent bald headed fat man at the KOA.

Not to quibble, but was this not the show we had tix for? Who’s got the stubs?!

Listen to Jerry mangle those lyrics like it was yesterday…

3/23 was quite a show to miss. Hornsby sat in and they did Cold Rain and Snow, Loser, Unbroken Chain, and Scarlet>Fire. We saw 3/22 and 3/24….the middle show was our day of rest punctuated by the aforementioned bald headed fat man passed out at midday, face up on a picnic table (the table, not the bench part) for 2 hours.

Listen to the High Time, Jerry mumbles an entire verse.

I agree Jimmy, Eyes was killer and the fungus was intense. I’d take that 3/24 show any day.

Ah yes, fuzzy memories… the only thing that’s really clear in my mind is the brown vest fatty wore on his hairless body.
